Since 2005, I have worked within public service and have experience in directly responding and managing crisis and trauma incidents, along with my clinical experience as mental health counselor since 2017. My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care and counseling.
My focus is to help individuals survive and thrive after crisis, trauma or in times of stress. In addition to trauma counseling , I also specialize in treating anxiety and depression, which often goes hand-in-hand with the stress of life. I also treat a number of mental health disorders across diverse cultures. I achieve this by providing a welcoming space, listening to your concerns, and working together to create a therapy a plan for your individual concerns. I believe in a collaborative approach to treatment using creative and evidence-based interventions as a trauma therapist.
My promise to clients is to be there for you every step of your counseling journey. To help you build on your strengths and create resiliency through creative and evidence-based therapy approaches. My goal as mental health counselors is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. My passion is creating culturally competent mental health services, resources, and training for the first responder, military & LGBTQIA communities. I view clients as the experts in their lives, and I prioritizes confidentiality, humor, empathy & compassion in my sessions.
