I can help! My name is Helena Madsen and as a certified Solution-Focused Brief therapist, I love helping kids and teens (aged 7-19 years old) feel better fast. I quickly and effectively assist your child in activating their strengths, resources, and resilience so they can live with more confidence, hope, and courage.
I use the Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach exclusively, not only because it’s clinically effective and rooted in science, but because it’s so effective and quick in decreasing anxiety in kids and teens. In fact, change can happen in as little as 2-4 sessions. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is known to be as effective as other therapy approaches but in fewer sessions.
All anxiety therapy is provided in Illinois via my virtual counseling practice, Briefly Counseling. Online counseling is easy and confidential! There is no need to drive anywhere and you and your child can talk to me from the comfort of your own home.
